University Counselling service
The University Counsellor’s role is to educate students and parents about different university possibilities, the college admissions process, application procedures, and testing. Special school based software helps students and parents gather information about university programs and procedures in different countries. The counsellor meets with all the 10th and 11th graders, individually and in groups, to talk about process and individual college choices, writes an official school recommendation for each senior, prepares transcripts and other necessary documentation.
The College Counsellor also advises the 8th and 9th graders explore career possibilities and what courses they will need for different career choices. Parents and students are also informed about relevant summer study opportunities and test preparation courses. The counsellor meets with all university admissions representatives who visit the EAS campus and facilitating meetings between college representatives and our students at regional college fairs. The College Counsellor also serves as a liaison with College admissions offices throughout the year.
