Kamilla Orujova graduated from Baku Slavic University, Department of Pedagogics and Techniques of Primary education.
She has more than 10 years of IB PYP experience, working with students from 3 up to 9 years old, which demonstrates her expertise and diverse teaching styles. For the last 4 years she worked as a PYP English Homeroom Teacher, Team Leader and a PYP Coordinator in European Azerbaijan School.
As a life-long learner herself, she is continuously working on her professional development. As an IB educator she has completed Making the PYP Happen workshop (2017), and The Role of the PYP Coordinator workshop (2019); TKT: Managing the teaching and learning process(2018), Lesson planning and use of resources for language teaching (2018), Language and background for language and teaching(2017); Supporting children with difficulties in reading and writing, University of London (2016), Professional practices for English Language teachers, University of London (2016).
She believes that it is crucial to maintain a commitment to the education of her students, as well as her own.
