European Azerbaijan School proudly hosted the Festival of HOPE

On 14 December, European Azerbaijan School proudly hosted the Festival of HOPE, held in collaboration with CCAAIBWS. The event brought together students, educators, and school communities to reflect on unity, responsibility, and action toward a better future.

The event brought together over 150 students and educators from more than 25 schools across Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, transforming EAS into a vibrant hub for global citizenship, dialogue and collaboration!

The Opening Ceremony began with inspiring music and dance performances by EAS students, setting a vibrant and meaningful tone for the day. The festival was officially opened by Francesco Banchini, CEO & Director of EAS and Chairman of CCAAIBWS, who welcomed participants and spoke about the importance of taking action, raising our voices for unity, and contributing to global solutions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Festival of Hope speakers — Cristina Banchini, Charlotte Riddell, and Aylin Jamalova — shared powerful reflections on the purpose of the Festival of Hope and highlighted the crucial global challenges our world is currently facing, encouraging young people to remain hopeful, engaged, and proactive.
