Francesco Banchini is an experienced leader, educator, influencer and researcher known for implementing innovations in international schools. He has authored books on leadership and historical musical notation, along with articles on leadership and education.

Francesco Banchini is the CEO & Director of the European Azerbaijan School (EAS), where he drives educational innovation and community engagement. Under his leadership, EAS achieved accreditation from the Council of International Schools (CIS), reinforcing its commitment to excellence. As the Founder and Chairman of the Caucasus & Central Asia Association of IB World Schools (CCAAIBWS), he fosters collaboration among international schools in the region, leading initiatives such as the IB PD Workshops. In his role on the CIS Board of Trustees, he advocates for forward-thinking educational policies, professional development, and the advancement of global education.

Banchini’s educational background includes master’s degrees in Music from Tor Vergata University, Rome, and the Conservatory of Music, Naples. He also holds a Certificate in Advanced Educational Leadership from Harvard University, a Certificate in International Leadership and Organizational Behaviour from Bocconi University, , and an MA in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of Bath.

He has presented at numerous prestigious events, including IB Global Conferences, AIE, NEASC, CIS, TOZOK, ECIS Leadership & Teacher Conferences, NYU Steinhardt, TEDx, and Experiential Learning Conferences. He actively speaks and conducts workshops on IB, teacher development, leadership, and other essential skills for educators, both locally and globally.
