On September 4, at the invitation of the Head of the Naftalan City Executive Authority, Mr. Vuqar Novruzov, the CEO and Director of the European Azerbaijan School, Mr. Francesco Banchini, and the Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Ganja, Mr. Recep Öztop, visited Naftalan to meet with students who achieved high scores in the national entrance examinations and were successfully admitted to universities.

The event began with the newly admitted students visiting the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, where they laid flowers in tribute to his enduring legacy.

During the official gathering at the Naftalan City Executive Authority, the memory of the Martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defense of our Motherland was honored with a moment of silence.

In his address, Mr. Vuqar Novruzov, along with the distinguished guests, congratulated the students on their academic achievements and extended best wishes for their future endeavors. The speakers emphasized that the successful educational policies pursued under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev, serve the vital purpose of transforming oil capital into human capital while ensuring the integration of the Azerbaijani education system into the global educational landscape.
