Our Grade 5 Spanish language students joyfully celebrated Día de los Muertos in a colorful and engaging event organized in collaboration with students from the Azerbaijan University of Languages. 💀🌸🎉
Guests delivered an inspiring talk on the traditions and cultural significance of this beloved Mexican holiday, deepening students’ understanding of language through culture. We were especially honored by the presence of H.E. Maria Victoria Romero Caballero, the Mexican Ambassador to Azerbaijan, who showed great interest in the students’ learning and asked thoughtful questions. 🇲🇽✨
The celebration concluded on a cheerful note as everyone sang “Un Poco Loco” and “Recuérdame” together — a perfect ending to a day filled with culture, music, and learning! 🎶💫
