PAST HIGHLIGHTS
A look back at the events and milestones that shaped our school community.
28 November
On 28 November, 18 students from Grades 5–7 took part in a joint educational visit organised in partnership with IDEA at EKOL Park in Gala Village. The programme offered our young learners a chance to explore nature closely and understand the importance of environmental awareness.
During the trip, students attended environmental lectures delivered by EKOL Engineering Services and IDEA Campaign specialists, joined a guided tour of the park, and took part in a planting activity. They also had the opportunity to observe how ecological systems are created — from solar panels and wind turbines to sustainable planting areas and clean-energy models.
It was a valuable experience that opened space for curiosity, learning and connection with the natural world. We are pleased to see our students engaging with real-life examples of sustainability and gaining a deeper understanding of how our planet grows, strengthens and renews itself.

Organized by the Embassy of Austria, the event held at the Azerbaijan Museum of Art brought together guests under the message of “building bridges” and celebrating inclusivity.
Our CEO & Director Francesco Banchini and the EAS team attended the event, joining distinguished guests in an atmosphere where culture, art, and meaningful dialogue came together.
The evening opened with warm and engaging networking, creating a space where guests connected, shared ideas, and formed new partnerships. The elegant setting, accompanied by classical music, made the start of the event especially memorable.
One of the brightest moments of the night was the performance of our DP students, who danced to Dmitri Shostakovich’s “Vienna Waltz” with confidence and grace. Their presence on stage added beauty and energy to the evening, reflecting the talent and dedication of our young learners.
A wonderful celebration of culture, connection, and youth talent.

Ms. Leyla, Founder of RIDS IT and Design – The Motive Club; Ms. Nazrin Rzayeva, Project Manager at Nargis Fund; and Mr. Francesco Banchini, CEO and Director of EAS, delivered welcoming speeches and wished the children continued success in their creative journeys.
Honored guests Rashad Huseynov, Partnership Officer at the UN Resident Coordinator’s Office, and Azimbala Azimov, a pilot awarded the Order of Glory, engineer-pilot, and squadron commander, also attended the event as guest speakers. They encouraged the students to stay strong in life, value education, and build their futures with determination and knowledge.
Following the speeches, the children were awarded certificates, enjoyed a cake-cutting ceremony, and took memorable group photos. The partners then presented gifts to the students and wished them success and happiness in their future life.
