The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme

  • Our main language of instruction is English
  • The core curriculum, taught in English, includes mathematics, English, science, and social studies
  • Specialist subjects/classes are taught in English 
  • Inquiry based learning is approached through the the units of inquiry (UOI) within the transdisciplinary themes 
  • There is an emphasis on social and emotional growth through the development of the IB Learner Profile
  • English literacy development is addressed through a variety of interactive programmes
  • EAL (English as an Additional Language) support is provided in the classroom
  • Additional foreign languages: Russian, Italian, German, Spanish, French, Chinese
  • Free clubs are provided, based on choice
